Top 3 on My Bucket List
Published Monday, November 17th 2014
After spending the past several days at our Cruise Planners National Convention #CPCon14, I have decided it is time for me to start my own Travel Bucket List. Here are the first three with more to follow.
1. Rhine River Cruise--Holiday Market: I've always enjoyed Christmas time. Christmas is just one of those times that appeals to all of your senses. The wonderful light displays; the smell and taste of fresh baked cookies; the sounds of carolers; the chill of winter to come; and the excitement of everyone around. Now combine this love of the holidays with the curiosity of visiting the history filled cities along the Rhine River, I cannot help but make this number one on my bucket list.
2. Tahiti: Anyone who has just seen pictures of these wonderful South Pacific islands, Like Me, probably has this trip on their travel Bucket List. Only an 8 hour flight from L.A. or San Francisco, this destination is much easier to reach than I use to think. You can either cruise the islands of Tahiti or stay at one of several resorts. This bucket list for me will be checked off in about three years, as my wife and I plan to cruise the islands for our 25th Anniversary. Tahiti is a perfect destination for celebratory travel and romance.
3. Alaska CruiseTour: After completing a seven night round-trip cruise from Seattle to the Inside Passage of Alaska two years ago, I have this strong desire to return and see more of Alaskan interior. A CruiseTour combines a seven night cruise with several nights of sightseeing in Denali National Park and many other of the wondrous sights that Alaska has to offer.
So, what's on your Bucket List? There are many other places I would like to visit but I wanted to take a moment to share my top three.
