Hi! I'm Tammy, co-owner of Cruise Planners, a full-service travel agency. With over 12 years of experience planning custom vacations, I take the time to truly listen to client expectations and design detailed arrangements that save you time, money, and stress.

I’ve completed extensive professional training and bring personal expertise in cruises, private and escorted tours, all-inclusive resorts, and group travel. Over the years, I’ve created highly customized itineraries across Europe, Asia, and Hawaii, as well as organized group trips for companies, religious organizations, and friends and families.

While I book all cruise lines, Virgin Voyages and Royal Caribbean are my favorites. As a Virgin Voyages Gold Tier First Mate — their highest level of agent training — I’m thrilled to help others experience everything that makes these ships so unique. I am also a Universal Orlando Destination Specialist and would love to help you plan your next adventure there.

Some of my favorite destinations include Germany, Costa Rica, and St. Lucia. I live in North Carolina, but I proudly work with clients all across the United States — thanks to so many amazing referrals.

Summer Bowers

Hi! I’m Summer! I have somewhat of an unusual background. My degrees in Mathematics and Actuarial Science proved to be no match for my love of adventure after I traveled to Europe in 2016. That was when I caught the travel bug. My favorite pastime suddenly turned from grading math papers and coaching high school sports to writing stories about my “small-town girl goes to the big city” escapades. Since then, I have been traveling and writing nonstop. I’ve developed a passion for not only sharing my adventures but also for helping others on their adventures. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the US for the last 6 years. Along the way, I documented my travels on my blog, Outside This Small Town, and through social media. My blog has also morphed into tips for traveling as a family and more personal posts, after the birth of my daughter, Lillie Belle, in 2020 and our son, Levi, in 2022. I hope to inspire others to see the world no matter what stage of life they are in — single, married, have children, etc. I currently live in Colorado Springs, Colorado with my husband, Stephen, who is active duty military, my 2 children, and our dog, Sven. I love booking all sorts of trips, but my favorites are FIT (personalized) trips, and I specialize in Europe. I’m also a travel insurance specialist as I strongly believe in protecting your investment when it comes to travel.
